It’s back! Chalk Walk Games are a new favorite activity in East Stratford! Turn our sidewalks into activity paths this weekend. All art is welcome, but games are the goal.
Contribute any activity you can think of on your sidewalk or driveway. You can use common space sidewalk as long as you keep a social distance of at least 6 feet while drawing your games!
What will you create?
- Hopscotch
- A riddle with a punch line
- A maze or labyrinth
- A challenge (“How many hops does it take you to get from X to X?”)
- An exercise course (“7 jumping jacks, walk heel toe to the line, 7 squats”)
- A chalk version of an obstacle course
- Yoga pose suggestions
Guidelines: Draw on the sidewalk or driveway of your own property. **Some neighbors might enjoy having colorful art added to their property, but be sure to ask permission first.
