Help keep our neighborhood beautiful! Join neighbors in caring for our community in 3 easy steps:

1. Select a spot to pick up trash around the lake (you can add other areas as you wish).
2. Meet at the Clubhouse at 1 PM on Sunday, April 19, to pick up supplies (safety vests, pickup sticks, trash and recycling bags, gloves).
3. Return your supplies to the Clubhouse by 3 PM or to the organizer’s garage door
4. Can’t clean with us on Sunday? Sign up and take care of your territory on Saturday. Wear disposable gloves and collect trash and recycling separately.

LEADERSHIP

McKinley, a young East Stratford resident, launched a Lake Clean Up in 2019. Neighbors have supported her leadership initiative annually since then.

Chad Green, an East Stratford neighbor and leader for Keep Loudoun Beautiful, organizes all the equipment for our event. Chad’s family helps to keep East Stratford Beautiful by generously donating their time every year.

Each year, McKinley leads the neighborhood in caring for our land. Watch her 2025 video on why we do this work together, and look for her 2026 video coming soon!
