A “Melt Away Winter” Guided Meditation

Free Workshop, Live on Zoom

Kick the winter blues and the pandemic blahs to the curb! Brighten up from the inside with powerful breath work and guided meditation.

This free, online workshop for East Stratford residents will clear your mind, energize your body, and elevate your mood. We’ll use breathwork, guided relaxation and guided visualization to level up our winter vibe:

  • Breathwork brings us back to balance. It can calm anxiety or energize us as needed.
  • Guided relaxation releases tension naturally. It improves our posture, digestion, mood and sleep. When used consistently it’s a natural remedy for pain relief too.
  • Guided visualization breaks up daily thought patterns and gives the mind a much-needed vacation.

All are welcome!! If you are new to mindfulness or meditation it will be easy to get started in this friendly, supportive environment. Experienced meditators may enjoy the blend of affirmations, mudras (finger or hand gestures) and techniques to amplify intuition.

While this workshop is designed for adults, children ages 6 and older are welcome to sit with you and participate, or use the calm time to color, paint or journal their feelings.

Instructor: Our workshop will be led by East Stratford resident, Beth Gibney. Beth has taught yoga and meditation since 2005 and own her own business, An Anchored Life. She weaves her background in counseling and education into ancient practices of mindful awareness to help people heal. Read more about her approach at ananchoredlife.com.
