Board Meeting Updates

East Stratford Residential – Please be advised that the East Stratford Residential Board of Directors meeting has been rescheduled to July 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM via Zoom.
East Stratford C&D – The next East Stratford C&D Board of Directors meeting will be held on August 19, 2026, at 6:30 PM via Zoom.

We encourage all residents to attend and stay involved in community updates and decisions. If you would like to attend either meeting, please contact Shannon Cook at Shannon@sequoiamgmt.com to obtain the Zoom login information.

E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety Reminders

Electric rides such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and hoverboards continue to grow in popularity—especially among our younger residents. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) encourages parents to stay informed and teach children how to ride safely and responsibly.

Key Safety Tips:

• Always wear a helmet.
• Practice in safe, open areas.
• Set clear riding rules and boundaries.
• Do not wear headphones while riding.
• Wear reflective gear, especially after dark.
• Check your device for mechanical issues before each ride.

In addition to riding safely, please be respectful of our community’s common areas. E-bikes and e-scooters should be operated responsibly and should not be ridden on landscaped areas, through turf, or in a manner that damages Association property. Repeated riding over grass and common area landscaping can result in costly repairs. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping preserve our shared community spaces.

Common Area Damage & Items Left in Common Areas – Rusert Drive

Management has recently noticed that personal items, such as sports goals and other recreational equipment, are being left in the common areas, particularly near Rusert Drive.
We kindly ask all residents to remind members of their household, including children, to remove all toys, sports equipment, and personal belongings after they have finished playing.

The repeated placement and use of these items in the common areas is causing damage to the turf and surrounding landscape. Any items left in the common areas may be removed and disposed of by the maintenance team without further notice.

Tennis Court Project Updates & Court Use Reminders

We are pleased to announce that the tennis court resurfacing project has been completed. An additional pickleball net will be installed in the coming weeks, and the Association has also added two new benches for the enjoyment of our residents. We hope these improvements enhance your recreational experience.

As a reminder, please ensure the gate is fully closed and securely latched when entering and exiting the courts. Properly securing the gate helps maintain the safety, security, and cleanliness of the facility.

To help protect the newly resurfaced courts, we ask that all residents use the facility only for its intended purpose. The courts are designated exclusively for tennis and pickleball. Activities such as skating, skateboarding, rollerblading, riding bicycles or scooters, allowing pets on the court surface, or any other non-court-related activities are not permitted, as they can damage the playing surface and reduce the lifespan of these community amenities.
